Am I middle class if I make 73k a year?

where is the limit of middle class

Best Answer:

?: It's not just your income. It's what your family lives on, where you live, how much you have in the bank, how much debt you're carrying. But all-in-all I'd call you middle class. You're a member of that endangered class of Americans who have been steadily losing ground for 40 years now. The upper class starts around $250k/yr, and they are getting richer and richer.

i've heard that a family needs about 100k to be comfortable now… but i think a more accurate measure would be where and how you live… home ownership is the low-hanging fruit of lordship (owning land) and that's the low barrier imo… if you own a part of the earth, you have a continual resource and that's precisely what made the kings of england and let them rule the world…

you have to know about the normal and t curves if you're making that much; for those who don't, it's a mathematical fact that 68% of whatever you're testing shall be perfectly average? the upper limits of middle class for me would be when you don't have to work anymore… that's the aristocracy who, starting with family lands now hire a guy to run the books on whatever's on the lands and just sit back and chill… by existing, money keeps pouring in all day and night into the bucket of your surname…

if you take the train to waste time in your cubical and then drive to the gym to walk on the treadmill; you sir, are middle class…

Depends. There are a number of variables we must consider, including;

The country you live in, the city or town, credit/debt ratio, savings & investments, and one last teensy weensy detail— 73 thousand WHAT!?

Hopefully, you don't mean: Zimbabwean dollars, Costa Rican Colons, Paraguayan Guarani, Indonesian Rupiahs, Guinean Francs, Laotian Kips, Belarussian Rubles, São Tomé and Principe Dobras, Vietnamese Dongs, or Iranian Rials. Why? Because those currencies are near worthless. 🙁
