If I overdraft my checking account while the bank is closed, will I still be charged the feel as long as there is money in it when they open?

I am flat broke, but tomorrow is payday. I cannot even afford to eat dinner tonight without overfrafting my account, which currently has 4 cents in it. My paycheck will be deposited at 4am. Will they still assess the fee if the balance is covered by morning?

Lolly: You either have money or you don't. Drawing on a check that has not cleared is not a good idea. I'm sure you could find something to eat, cereal or something in the freezer.

Lolly:
if the bank is closed when you "overdraft", you WILL NOT be charged a fee as long as you can cover the overdraft ON THE FIRST BUSINESS DAY the bank re-opens before close of business with AVAILABLE FUNDS–cash or electronic transfer in that settles same day, like a Fed Wire Transfer. However, if you have a checking account, use of a debit card may be declined until the bank opens the next business day and shows the 4 AM credit, which would be "good funds".

I do financial advice.

Most likely your card will be declined. Can't you ask one of your co-workers? I would have zero problem loaning someone a small amount of money, if I knew they were getting paid the next day.
Sonya:
most likely your card shall be declined… for the life of me cannot you ask one of your co-workers? i would have zero problem loaning someone a small amount of money, if i knew they were getting paid the next day…
