Would you donate to a GoFundMe foundation like this?

This person I know wants to start a GoFundMe campaign thingy. They want to save up to buy their first car so they can get their license (they're looking at second hand ones), they also want some help paying off their mortgage (they're 23 years old and got a loan to buy an investment house, so they'll

This person I know wants to start a GoFundMe campaign thingy. They want to save up to buy their first car so they can get their license (they're looking at second hand ones), they also want some help paying off their mortgage (they're 23 years old and got a loan to buy an investment house, so they'll need help paying off that loan, too), and they also want some help to afford something like Lite & Easy so they can lose weight.

My friend is worried that they sound greedy and whiny, especially cause they've now got an investment house. Please tell me honestly if you agree with my friend's opinion on this. I don't think they sound greedy, at all
The only reason my friend got a bank loan, and an investment property, was because they were in a massive car accident a few years back, and got an insurance payout from the Third Party. They stuck that money in a savings account and let it gain a bit of interest before they go the idea to buy an investment house

They don't go out partying all weekend, they have a full time job, and they don't waste their money on crap

Bisexual Aromantic: I don't have a mortgage or a car. If that person needs money they can sell their property. Nobody is going to fund them online if they already have a mortgage and could sell the property if they really needed money.
People donate to people who have real needs – a family without insurance whose house burnt down in a fire or was destroyed by a tornado, a family without health insurance who needs money for an operation for a sick child, etc
They will not donate to someone who already owns property, as that person is already better off than 50% of people in the country who don't own any property and are stuck renting because they will never have the money to even save up for a down payment

NO-ONE outside family is going to give a total strange money to buy a house or car. They may give a total stranger in India, money for an operation for their disabled daughter, they may give money to a child in Africa so they can get an education

It would be interesting if you can post again in a few months and let everyone know how this 'friend's' gofundme campaign is going !

Luke:
They own an investment property? They're a lot richer than I am. I'm not making charitable donations to members of the upper middle class.
Ashley:
no… there are numerous much more deserving gofundme's…for families with disasters or tragedies… well, why should someone fund normal living expenses for someone?
Willie:
I don't even donate when someone loses a loved one, so your friend won't get a penny from me.
Cara:
No. If you can't afford something on what you earn, you wait, and save up for it. At 23 you should know that. And you don't need to spend money to lose weight.
Angel:
no… if you for the life of me cannot afford something on what you earn, you wait, and save up for it… at 23 you should know that… and you don't need to spend money to lose weight…
Judy:

Ann:
yes, whiney greedy and I would add lazy and self-entitled.
Cha:
